The SeaPort-e Program makes electronic procurement of engineering, technical, and programmatic support a reality. On May 31, 2005, Jardon and Howard Technologies, Inc. (JHT Inc.) was selected as a prime contractor under the U. S. Navy's SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Program.
The Navy's Virtual System Command (VS) consisting of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Supply Command (NAVSUP), and Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR) has leveraged the successes and efficiencies of the NAVSEA SeaPort business model to design SeaPort-e to be the vehicle of choice to obtain engineering, technical, and program management services from JHT and our subcontractors.
All members of the VS and the other services listed, as well as their subordinate commands, with contracting warrants may exercise this vehicle.
